Is the American Express Blue Cash Everyday credit card easy to get? Yes, fairly easy. However, before considering this card, make sure to read through our Pros and Cons outlined below. (Terms Apply).

Pros

  • $0 Annual Fee (See Rates & Fees)
  • 3% cash back (statement credit) on groceries, gas, and online shopping (Up to $6,000 per year, per category in eligible purchases, then 1% cash back)
  • Special Perk: $7 back per month after spending $9.99 or more (excluding taxes) each calendar month on an eligible subscription to Disney Plus, Hulu, or ESPN plus; Up to $84 in savings per year (subject to auto-renewal, enrollment required)

Cons

While this credit card has its perks, make sure to review these cons before applying.

  • 3% Bonus Rewards cap of $6,000 in purchases
  • Rewards can only be redeemed for statement credit (no travel rewards, gift cards, etc.)
  • Some merchants do not accept AMEX cards (due to relatively high interchange fees)

Recap

Above all, Blue Cash Everyday is one of the best $0 Annual Fee options available – especially if your big expense areas are groceries, gas, and online shopping. Despite some negatives, we believe this card could be an excellent addition to your wallet.
